The Foskey family returned to their hometown of Trenton in Jones County Saturday to provide a hot, holiday meal to those impacted by Hurricane Florence.
“You know it’s just heartbreaking because they really need help in this area, ” said Mary Foskey.
Back in September, weeks after Hurricane Florence, the Foskey’s passed out a number of non-perishables to people in town.
“We just went to work to do everything we could do for them,” said Mary.
“Initially coming back and seeing the devastation, we all wanted to you know pitch in and do our part, so it’s really exciting today to come back and do that especially during the holiday season,” said Katelyn Foskey.
The family also had a coat and clothing drive for effected residents.
