FEMA has opened disaster recovery centers across the East providing victims of Hurricane Florence with financial aid.

The process is simple.

Come to the recovery center, register with FEMA and get assistance.

After you apply you can take advantage of the different agencies that are represented here.

The United States Small Business Administration is here offering homeowners renters and business money through various loans.

“First make sure you document your damage make sure you’re taking plenty of photographs getting as much information documented as possible,” said FEMA staff member Angela Byrd.

FEMA also encourages anyone who experiences damage and needs financial assistance to file a claim with their insurance company if they have one before coming to the center.
