Former Greene Central Coach James “Rabbit” Fulghum headed to North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame

RALEIGH (WNCT) – 9 on your side Sports congratulates former Greene Central Coach James “Rabbit” Fulghum on his May induction into the North Carolina Sports Hall of  Fame.

Former NBA player Antawn Jamison and Stanley Cup champion Rod Brind’Amour are also a part of the new electees to the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame.

The class also includes former NFL player Haywood Jeffires, basketball players Eric “Sleepy” Floyd and Freddy Johnson, women’s basketball player Susan Yow, swimmer David Fox and driver Ray Price.

Coach Fulghum won 5 state baseball championships at Greene Central.
