GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT) – If you’re looking to dive into a good book, you’re in luck.
The Friends of the Sheppard Memorial Library Used Book Sale starts on Thursday. Volunteers shipped boxed books to the Greenville Convention Center in preparation for the sale.
Director of Libraries, Greg Needham, says the book sale benefits the community.
“The very most important thing is that it gets books from readers, people who love books, to other people who love to read,” said Needham. “So it’s really supporting literacy.”
On Thursday, only library members can purchase the used books. Then on Friday and Saturday, books will be available for purchase to the public.
On Sunday, it’s bag sale day; pay only $5 for a full bag of books.
