Greenville Fire/Rescue have assisted a kayaker that overturned on the Tar River Tuesday morning.
Mayor P.J. Connelly said that officials responded to a call that three kayakers overturned on the Tar River.
Responders were able to assist one of the kayakers that was still in the kayak and they located the other two at their apartment.
