GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – According to the Greenville PD, $360,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine was recovered during a traffic stop on June 17.
32-year-old Roberto Ortiz was stopped by officials on South Memorial Drive near Arlington Blvd. He originally had a brake light out.
A GPD K9 alerted on the vehicle, which then prompted Greenville officers to find 12 pounds of crystal methamphetamine inside a bag in the trunk.
Ortiz was charged with multiple counts of trafficking in crystal methamphetamine. He’s being held in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $2-million bond.
