The Greenville Police Department put on their aprons Friday morning in an effort to raise money for their “Cop-Fund.”

The department is working with Great Harvest Bread Company preparing and baking “Honey Bunnies.”

A portion of the money raised will help support families at the police department dealing with unexpected medical or financial hardships.

Staff, who have been supported through this fund, say they are thankful for the financial help in times of need.

“She [his wife] went through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and everything associated with those negatives not having any cost to worry about,” said Officer Brian Neague. “Really just took us to a much better place.”

The large “Honey Bunnies” are $15 and the “Baby Bunnies” are $5.

Great Harvest Bread Company is located on Evans St. in Greenville.
