Greenville police: Man who shot at 519 nightclub arrested

GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT) —A 22-year-old Greenville man has been arrested and charged with shooting into popular Greenville nightclub 519 after business hours.

Robert Stockwell Davies III was taken into custody by Greenville Police Wednesday afternoon. He’s been charged with discharging a firearm within city limits and injury to real property.

Greenville police said Davis was involved in an altercation at Club 519 in the early morning hours of Tuesday and was kicked out of the bar as a result of his behavior. He later returned to Club 519  at approximately 5:45 AM and shot through several exterior windows, police said.   The bar was closed and no one was inside at the time of the shooting.

It was the only business in the area hit by bullets.
