Grifton Police searching for suspect in armed robbery at H and H Pharmacy


GRIFTON, N.C. (WNCT) – H and H Pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint on July 8 after the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded Oxycodone.

The suspect continued to walk behind the counter and the pharmacist gave him two bottles of Oxycodone and five bottles of Hydrocodone. He later apologized for the robbery and stated he had to do it for someone in need.

Nobody was injured in the incident, while the suspect fled on foot.

Grifton Police states the suspect is described as a white male, mid to late-20’s, approximately 5-feet tall. He was wearing a tweed colored Fedora hat, long-sleeve grey-colored button up dress shirt, dark jeans and a large pair of sunglasses.

He reportedly has stubbly-type growth of facial hair, but not a full beard.
