KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Howard Dudley, a man falsely accused of molesting his daughter in 1991, talked about his story Sunday afternoon in Kinston.
Dudley was released after serving two decades in prison for a crime he says he did not commit. Many came out to hear about his journey and see what it was like to live behind bars for over 21 years.
Dewanda Hines says she wants to learn from Dudley, to teach other people life lessons.
“Something that I hear today, may help me to help them and it also may help me because I’m not prone, I could be in the wrong place at the wrong time also,” Hines said.
Dudley said he’s thankful for God and will continue living his life to the fullest.
