A Hubert man wanted on outstanding warrants has been arrested after meth and cash was found in his vehicle, according to the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office.
Matthew Lutz, 35, faces a number of drug charges.
A U.S. Marshals Task Force Office stopped the vehicle Lutz was driving on Thursday.
The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office said Lutz was in possession of a significant amount of methamphetamine and cash, more of which was found in the vehicle.
During the investigation, 22.7 grams of methamphetamine and $2,779.50 in cash was seized.
Lutz in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $116,000 secured bond awaiting his first court appearance.
