Jacksonville man accused of stealing construction materials from job sites

A Jacksonville man was arrested Tuesday after deputies said he for stole construction materials from job sites.

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Plow Point Lane in Jacksonville in reference to roofing shingles been stolen on January 26.

According to deputies, a second incident was reported by a resident at Cascade Court in Hubert on January 31.

In both cases, two suspects claimed to be part of the work crew that was doing repairs to the homes.

Zatrick Z. Webber, 33, of Jacksonville, was arrested for his involvement in the cases.

Webber was charged with felony larceny, felony conspire to commit felony larceny and felony possession or received stolen property from a construction site.

He was sent to the Onslow County Detention Center under a $12,000 bond.

The cases are under investigation and more arrests are expected.
