Teenagers can get help with resumes, job applications, and job interview skills, at a free workshop and job fair this week in Greenville.

The 1st Annual “I Need A Job!” Fair will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 9, 10 and 11, at the South Greenville Recreation Center, located at 851 Howell Street.

The first two days of the workshop will teach teens ages 16-18 how to create a resume, how to properly complete a job application, how to improve their job interview skills, and how to open a secure bank account to safely store their money.

On the third day of the workshop, more than 20 local employers will be present to conduct job interviews with teens in attendance, using a “speed dating” format.

The workshop is sponsored by the South Greenville Recreation Center and the NextGen Youth at Work Program, a non-profit group that teaches teens the essential skills they need to obtain a job.
