GREENVILLE, N.C. – A six-year-old girl from Greenville wrote her own children’s book and it’s now for sale at Barnes and Noble stores across the country.
Morgan Taylor wrote Daddy’s Little Princess. Her mother says she was inspired to write the book after her father told her anyone could be a princess. Morgan says she thought only “vanilla” or white people could be princesses. She says after she found out anyone could be a one. She wanted to let other little girls know.
“He told me I could be and he proved it,” Morgan Taylor said.
“Morgan is special, and I know everyone’s child is special but the idea that she could take something from her head and make it into a movement is amazing,” Morgan Taylor’s mom said.
Taylor hopes to write a second book in the near future. She says it will be about how little kids can make money.
