AYDEN, N.C. (WNCT) - Ayden’s annual Collard Festival is about to get underway.
There will be rides, games and booths to pique the interest of the entire family, but more importantly, there will be collards.
Festivities officially kick off Thursday night at 6, and it costs $20.
The Ms. Ayden pageant starts at 7 p.m.
The festival will last over the next few days, and there will be a cornhole competition, a collard eating contest and more.
The festival helps the local economy, bringing in thousands of people each year.
