BETHEL, N.C. (WNCT) - A convicted felon has been charged in connection to a Bethel shooting last month.
Derrick Berry, 37, of Bethel was arrested on Monday and charged with attempted murder.
Bethel shot another person on November 3, police said. The victim was taken to Vidant Medical Center.
Berry turned himself in to police with an attorney present.
He is being held at the Pitt County Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bail.
