Deputies: 1 arrested, 1 wanted after vehicle break-in in Hubert

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - A woman was arrested Thursday and a man is wanted after deputies said they were involved in a vehicle break-in reported in Hubert. 

Rhiannon Leek, 31, of Midway Park, was charged with felony attempt to obtain property by false pretense, felony possession of stolen goods, felony financial card theft, felony conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calvin Roman currently has warrants for his arrest for his involvement in the case.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on Burley Drive in Hubert in reference to a vehicle break-in reported on December 5.

An investigation revealed that Leek and a co-conspirator tried to use a stolen credit card at a local business.

The co-conspirator was identified as Roman.

According to investigators, that Leek and Roman may be in possession of stolen property.

Leek was arrested Thursday and was sent to the Onslow County Detention Center under a $16,000 bond.
