ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WNCT) - Authorities have made additional arrests in the murder of a Perquimans County man in Pasquotank County in June.
Daquan L. Spencer, 22, and Donald E. Spencer, 25, both from Elizabeth City, were charged with murder.
An investigation made by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations along with the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office led to additional arrests in the murder of Devon K. Revelle that occurred in June.
Authorities identified the other suspects as Daquan and Donald.
They were sent to jail under no bond.
The murder is still under investigation and more arrests are expected.
An Elizabeth City man was arrested Monday on first-degree murder charges after a shooting in Pasquotank County.
Dazis D. Bonds, 22, was charged with first-degree murder.
On Saturday around 6:45 p.m., the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a person being shot on Esclip Road in southern Pasquotank County.
Deputies arrived on the scene and said they found a black male on the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene by the EMS Director Newell.
Authorities identified the victim as Devon K. Revelle, 21, of Perquimans County.
The investigation concluded with Bonds' arrest Monday afternoon.
He was sent to the Albemarle District Jail without bond.
Deputies along with the NC SBI, Wildlife, the NC ALE, the Dare County Sheriff’s Office, the NC Community Correction, and the Elizabeth City Police Department assisted in the investigation.
The investigation is still ongoing.
