Gov. Cooper to survey Florence recovery in eastern Carolina

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - Gov. Roy Cooper is visiting eastern North Carolina Friday, with plans to stop at a number of locations hit by Hurricane Florence.

The governor is expected to start his trip in Wilmington, where he is scheduled to visit small businesses impacted by the hurricane.

Later in the day, the plan is for him to go to Pollocksville, followed by trips to Grantsboro and New Bern.
