Greenville police arrest 2 men, seize $1M in heroin after traffic stop

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - Two Georgia men were arrested after police seized $1 million worth of heroin during a traffic stop in Greenville last week.

Ricardo Juarez-Mora, 41, and Hector Lopez Garcia, 39, both face heroin trafficking charges. 

Greenville police stopped a vehicle near Greenville Boulevard and Hooker Road on November 28.

Officers seized two kilograms of heroin during the traffic stop, which police said amounted to $1 million street value.

The men are being held in the Pitt County Detention Center under $2 million bonds.
