Havelock police trying to ID suspects wanted in connection to armed robbery at Sonic

HAVELOCK, N.C. (WNCT) - Police are trying to identify three suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred at the Sonic located in Havelock on July 2.

The Havelock Police Department said that Sonic employees were held at gunpoint and robbed of the night deposit bag on July 2 during early morning hours.

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen, police said. 

There were no injuries and no shots fired during the robbery. 

Police said that three suspects were involved in the robbery and fled on foot.  

The description for the suspects are the following:

  • Light skinned black male wearing red Nike shoes
  • Light skinned black male with an unknown clothing description
  • A white male wearing an orange hat
