Jacksonville deputies: Trying to ID woman wanted for robbery in various Walmarts

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a woman wanted for questioning in robbery from various Walmarts in Richlands and Jacksonville.

On Monday, deputies responded to a report made by the Walmart located in Richlands related to a woman who purchased 2 computers and then returned them for a refund.

Deputies said the managers from the store opened the boxes for inspection and found the hard drive was missing in one and the other one needed to be repaired.

Video surveillance showed the woman going to her car with the computers and then returning to the store.

The woman did the same thing at the Walmart located on HWY 17 in Jacksonville after returning the computers in Richlands.

Deputies described the suspect as a 25-35-year-old white female, 5’3-5’4 in height, 125-135 lbs. and brown hair.

The woman was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, dark frame glasses and appeared to have a pink cellphone.

Deputies believe she was driving a 2009 Nissan Maxima.
