JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - A Jacksonville woman has been arrested after kidnapping another woman and threatening her with bodily harm, deputies said.

Sandra S. King, 57, was charged with second-degree kidnapping and common law robbery.

On Wednesday, the Onslow County Sheriff's Office responded to the Seafood Market located on Bell Fork Road in reference of a woman that had been robbed and kidnaped from the White Oak Barber Shop located on Piney Green Road.

Investigation showed that the victim was confronted by King who asked for money.

The victim did not comply with the King’s request and attempted to leave, deputies said.

Deputies said that King got into the front passenger side of the victim’s car and demanded a ride.
