KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) - A man and a woman have been arrested after deputies said they were distributing cannabis products from their residence in Kinston.
Michael Goodman and Ashleigh Moore, of Kinston, were charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for keeping or selling controlled substances.
Taylor Hobbs of Kinston was cited for misdemeanor possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana.
On June 27, the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office along with the Narcotics Detectives conducted a drug investigation at 224 Elise S. Jones Road in Kinston.
The investigation was conducted after numerous complaints from the community, reporting drug activity taking place at the residence.
Detectives conducted a search on the residence and said they found cannabis products, varying from marijuana, cannabis edibles, cannabis oils, cannabis waxes, drug paraphernalia items, US currency and two firearms.
Officials said that marijuana products were being distributed from the residence.
Goodman and Moore were sent to the Lenoir County Jail under a $15,000 bond.
