Police offer cash reward for information in murder investigation in Kinston

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) - Police are looking for the suspect(s) involved in a murder case reported in Kinston on January 15.

The Kinston Police Department responded to a call of a gunshot victim reported on January 15 just before 9:30 p.m.

An investigation showed that Quantae Dixon, 23, of Kinston, was shot while sitting in a vehicle which was parked in the area of the 900 Block of Doctors Drive.

Dixon received treatment at UNC Lenoir and Vidant Medical Center in Greenville before dying.

The case is under investigation and a cash reward is being offered for any information that leads to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the murder Dixon.

Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in Kinston Monday night.

The Kinston Police Department responded to call of a gunshot victim on Monday around 9:30 p.m.

Police arrived the 900 block of Doctors Drive and said they found an individual sitting in a vehicle with a gunshot wound.

The victim was identified as Quantae Dixon, 23, of Kinston.

Dixon received treatment at UNC Lenoir and Vidant Medical Center in Greenville before dying.

The investigation is still ongoing.
