Robbery reported at ECU, no one injured according to police

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) - ECU Campus Police say a robbery took place around 1:10pm on Sunday.

An ECU student reported his cell phone stolen in the area of Tyler Hall on College Hill Drive. 

No weapons were reported during the incident. 

One suspect was last seen running off campus toward the stadium. 

The victim didn't see the direction of travel of the second suspect.

The first suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6 ft tall, with short twisted hair, wearing a gray pull-over sweatshirt, black shorts, white shoes and black socks. 

The second was reported to have a curly afro was and wearing black athletic pants and a gray pull-over. 

ECU and Greenville PD officers searched the areas on and surrounding campus.

A K-9 track was also run in an attempt to locate the suspects.

The suspects have not been located according to Police.  

The case is still under investigation.
