Two in Bertie County arrested on drug charges

WINDSOR, N.C. (WNCT) - The Bertie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics & Gang Unit along with the Down East Drug Task Force arrested two men on drug charges.

Glen Weaver of Powellsville was charged with possession with intent of selling and deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle to keep controlled substances.

Weaver was arrested Tuesday and was given a $50,000 bond.

Justin Dunlow of Perrytown Road was charged with possession with intent of selling, manufacture and deliver cocaine, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dunlow was arrested on March 16 and was given a $70,000 bond.

"We are dedicated to our mission of getting violent offenders and drug dealers off the streets of Bertie County," said Sheriff Holley. "Our goal is to be strategic, methodical and precise in our investigations of not only those who sell illegal dangerous drugs in Bertie County, but also of the distributors that may be in Northampton, Hertford and other areas."
