The Greenville regional has come and gone, but restaurants and shops around town are still reaping the benefits.
Local tourism experts predicted a $1.8 million economic impact over the weekend in Greenville.
Crossbones Tavern in Uptown was one hot spot that benefited.
Workers said their busiest night was Friday, seeing double the customers and double the revenue that they usually do.
They prepared for the crowds by stocking up on supplies and increasing staff.
“I saw people from South Carolina, and I think Ohio,” bar manager George Cox said. “Most other people were from pretty close around.”
Workers said they think they would have done better and more people woulld have came out if the rain held off.
