A man was arrested Wednesday on attempted murder charges after shooting in Goldsboro, police said.
Thomasi M. Davis, of Goldsboro, had warrants for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
On May 10, the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the area of 309 West Holly Street in reference to a person that had been shot.
When officers arrived to the scene they said they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper thigh.
The male victim was transported to the Wayne UNC Healthcare for treatment.
The Criminal Investigations Division started an investigation into the incident which led to identifying Davis as the suspect.
Davis was arrested on East Elm Street without incident, police said.
He was sent to the Wayne County Jail under a $1 million bond.
