A Pitt County drug trafficking investigation that involved two agencies led to the arrest of an Edgecombe County man on cocaine charges.
Deputies from the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office and Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a two-month-long investigation into cocaine trafficking in the area.
On April 3 in Pitt County, deputies seized approximately 4 ounces of cocaine from a suspect in the investigation, Qunitalez Jamaal Pitt, age 33, of Edgecombe County.
Pitt was arrested and charged with felony counts of Trafficking in Cocaine and Conspiracy to Traffic in Cocaine.
He was arrested and booked into the Pitt County Detention Center where he was released on a $50,000 bond.
