A man was arrested Friday on several drug charges after deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-40 near the Wallace area in Wilmington.
Capps was charged with three counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a place to keep controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, window tint violation and failure to signal.
The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office said they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on I-40 near the Wallace area for traffic violations.
The vehicle was being driven by Anthony Capps Jr. of Wilmington.
Deputies conducted a search on the vehicle and said they found approximately 90 grams of methamphetamine.
Capps was sent to the Duplin County Jail under a $60,000 bond.
