Man hit by U.S. Mail truck in Grifton


GRIFTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Grifton Police are investigating an incident where a man was hit by a U.S. Mail truck on Monday afternoon.

Crews got the call around 4 p.m. Monday.

Police said the mail truck stalled out along Olive Branch Blvd. A man was working on that car when it started again, and hit him.

The victim was conscious when the ambulance arrived, and was transported to Vidant Medical Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
