National Park Week 2019 is April 20-April 28. To celebrate, all national parks will offer free admission this Saturday, and Google Earth now offers guided, virtual tours of 31 national parks.

The National Park Service and National Park Foundation say entrance fees at all national parks will be waived on Saturday, April 20, and special events during National Park Week will highlight the different ways you can enjoy your national parks.

Find a U.S. National Park (including parks in North Carolina) near you to explore in-person, and look up the park’s name in Google Earth to explore it virtually.

Although the virtual park tours offer a fun way for people to explore parks they can’t visit in-person, Google says, “We encourage you to put down your phone, put on some sunscreen and get outside to explore the wonders that our parks system has to offer.”
