GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A Grand Rapids man accused of urinating on a 5-year-old girl and using racial slurs toward her has been cleared of all charges.
Kent County prosecutors determined that allegations made against 60-year-old David Allen Dean were fabricated by the children who were involved in the alleged incident. In a release, prosecutors said that all the children involved admitted Dean didn’t do it.
Dean was arrested Wednesday after police said he urinated on the girl, who is black, and then called her the n-word.
However, investigators determined that one of the children urinated on another child, and the story was concocted to avoid trouble.
