Payless ShoeSource plans to close all of its remaining stores when it files for a second bankruptcy later this month, according to a new Reuters report.

According to the report, there is still a small chance a buyer could emerge after Payless files for bankruptcy, but for now, the company is reportedly preparing to run out-of-business sales at its stores within the next week.

The discount shoe retailer, which has about 2,300 remaining stores nationwide, previously filed for bankruptcy in 2017.
