WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) - President Donald Trump gave his second State of the Union address to the country Tuesday night.
The address was pushed back several days due to the government shutdown.
Mr. Trump delivered familiar themes in his speech addressing the economy, criminal justice reform and his desire for a border wall along the US, Mexico border.
The President also made news announcing a new meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. The next meeting is set to take place in Vietnam February 27-28.
Trump has said that his outreach to Kim and their first meeting last June in Singapore opened a path to peace. But there is not yet a concrete plan for how denuclearization could be implemented.
