NC-based Airman dies after off-road motorcycle crash

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, NC (WNCT) – Senior Airman Earl Grover Jr., 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, was killed after an off-road motorcycle crash Saturday in Greenville.

Grover was transported to Vidant Medical Center before being pronounced dead.

“Team Seymour has heavy hearts as we mourn the loss of one of our own airmen,” said Col. Christopher Sage, 4th Fighter Wing commander. “During this difficult time we will continue to support one another and provide help to those affected.”

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
