RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) – The State DMV is reporting an error in its electronic system is affecting driving records of people across the state.
The division says it will continue to research and identify inaccuracies but it could be another two weeks before the problem is fixed. Now they are calling on you to make sure your information is correct.
North Carolina drivers who believe they may have been impacted or if your driving records do not reflect court decisions made within the past year, contact the division’s adjudication hearings office.
The DMV will request the proper court documentation from drivers to update outdated records.
