A New England craft brewery is offering a unique tribute to Dunkin’ coffee.
Harpoon is offering a “Dunkin’ Coffee Porter.”
The brewery, which was founded in Boston in 1986, says, “This porter is our tribute to all the days that Dunkin’ has helped us fire up the brew kettle.”
The collaboration makes sense. Dunkin’ and Harpoon are neighbors.
Harpoon says for taste, it has a strong coffee flavor with dark roasty notes, with a finish that’s clean with a slight coffee bitterness.
Dunkin’ says the new brew pairs perfectly with fall favorites such as hearty stews, seasonal desserts, tailgating and of course, its own donuts.
The 6 percent alcohol by volume beer is available throughout the fall in 12 ounce bottles and draft at retail locations across the eastern U.S.
