Carolina Beach, NC — Fifteen people are recovering from minor injuries after a party boat crashed on Friday night.
The incident occurred around 9:30pm in Carolina Beach. According to the U.S. Coast Guard, “Royal Winner Princess Two” hit the N.C. Wildlife Pier. Investigators say the boat crashed due to equipment failure, which caused the loss of steering control.
Although minor injuries were reported, no one was taken to the hospital. The front of the boat suffered damage. We’ll update this story as more information becomes available.
