The public is invited to attend the 2019 Kicking Off Hurricane Preparedness Season Symposium on Friday at the main campus of East Carolina University in Greenville.
At the Hurricane Preparedness Symposium – sponsored by Travelers Institute – attendees will learn the latest hurricane research on preparedness, lessons learned from past storms, and ideas for building damaged communities back even stronger after a hurricane hits.
The event, which includes lunch, will be held on Friday, June 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at ECU’s Main Campus Student Center, Ballroom A, located at 501 East 10th Street in Greenville.
Registration and Networking starts at 11:30 a.m., and the Luncheon and Program starts at 12:00 p.m.
