BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Donald Aughenbaugh, of Oak Island, bought a $30 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.
Aughenbaugh bought his winning ticket from Olde Brunswick General Store on Fifty Lakes Drive in Southport.
He claimed his prize at lottery headquarters Wednesday.
After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $71,259.
