Two teenagers were arrested and charged Tuesday in a weekend triple-shooting in Raleigh, police say.

Joshua Rodney Brown and Justin Rashaun Brown, both 18, are now each charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury in relation to a shooting near Old Coach and Iron Horse roads Sunday night.

Justin Brown was arrested at 4 a.m. Tuesday, records show. Joshua Brown was arrested around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said three men were shot just before 7:45 p.m. They were all transported to WakeMed with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Neighbors in the area told CBS 17 they were shocked and scared when they heard the shots and saw a man run from the scene.

“I heard about five or six shots going down,” Brandon Smith told CBS 17. “I was in a panic because I didn’t know anything. I’d never thought I’d see anything like this ever in my life.”

Shelia Murray came to check on her children. She said her son heard gunshots.

“He came running out and saw the three guys laying on the road, so he and my daughter came down to check on them to see if they were okay,” Murray said. “They were just talking with them and standing with them, trying to keep them talking and keep them alive.”

Brown is being held in the Wake County Detention Center under a $1 million secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
