CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WGHP/WNCT) — Graduation ceremonies at all UNC schools for the spring semester have been canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

UNC System Interim President William L. Roper says each university chancellor will determine how to “celebrate” graduation.

East Carolina University officials said, “Per the UNC System, all university commencement plans will be disrupted. Each university in the system is currently working on plans and logistics for the university as well as college/departmental ceremonies.”
