Officials are investigating a house fire reported in Craven County Tuesday morning.
Several agencies responded to a call that came in around 6:45 a.m.
The Dover Volunteer Fire Department, the Fort Barnwell Volunteer Fire Department, the Cove City Volunteer Fire Department, and the Wyse Fork Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
According to officials, the incident was reported at 218 Johnson Street in Dover and no one was inside the house.
The home is not a total loss, and the fire started in the den or storage room.
The Red Cross is going to assist the family.
The case is still under investigation.
