Officials are investigating a fatal shooting reported in Farmville Wednesday around 1 a.m.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a subject shot on 57 Brian Drive in Farmville Wednesday around 1:00 a.m.
Witnesses on the scene described to unidentified individuals broke into the home and demanded money.
According to deputies, during the incident, 20-year-old Kevin E. Baker was fatally shot.
The NC SBI is assisting in the investigation.
Officials are investigating the case as a homicide.
