A pizza restaurant in New Bern is closed because of a crash and a driver has been charged, officials said.
Officials said that a car went into the front of Mario’s Pizza off Glenburnie Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to the New Bern Police Department, a driver hit the gas instead of the brake, running into the building.
A customer inside suffered minor injuries and is okay.
The driver of the vehicle has been charged in the crash.
Police have not released the names or ages of those involved.
