Officials: Planned water outage for some areas in Jacksonville due to water leak repair

Officials said that a planned water outage is scheduled for some areas in Jacksonville Tuesday morning.

The areas included in the planned water outage are Church Street, Ward Street, and Newberry Street.

City utility crews will temporarily interrupt water service to repair a water leak and hydrant.

Repair work is expected to begin at 7:30 a.m. and finish by noon on Tuesday.
