JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies in Onslow County need the public’s assistance in identifying the subject in an armed robbery.
It happened on Tuesday around 11 p.m. at the Scotchman located at 3620 Richlands Hwy. Deputies said Thursday the suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded the clerk give him the money in the register. He then fled on foot towards the Blue Top Road area.
He’s described as a black male between 5’11″ and 6’. When it happened, the suspect was wearing a black mask, dark in colored hoodie and dark in color baggy jeans.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone who may know the identity of the suspect or that has information about the incident or that may have seen something unusual in that area on the 29th between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m., to call the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division 910-455-3113 or contact Sergeant L.
