Pitt Co. woman missing since early February has been found


GREENVILLE, N.C.(WNCT)- A Pitt County woman who went missing has been found, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday morning.

40-year- old, Stephanie Langley had last been seen on Reba Drive on February 11 wearing jeans, a black checkered shirt and a camouflage jacket.

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office said she has been found and is OK..

Langley had just moved to the area late last year after meeting a Greenville man online.

While her cellphone remained in service, there was no activity on her phone or social media accounts during her disappearance.

Langley’s five children and family told 9 On Your Side on Monday they were desperately searching for answers.

“Everybody is pretty upset,” said Belinda Speight, mother of Stephanie Langley. “We alternate between terror and hope. Everyone in the family is upset.”
